Larry Howard, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, is licensed by the Georgia Medical Composite Board as a Physician Assistant.He began his professional career working as a Respiratory Therapist for 13 years. He then completed the Physician Assistant Program at Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Capitol University in Columbus, Ohio. He achieved a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Community Health at Cleveland State University.
Larry began his career as a Physician Assistant in theOrthopedics program at the University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH. His career has also included practice in the areas of Primary Care, Employee Health Services, andUrgent Care. Larry has been practicing Pain Management since relocating to the north Georgia area in 2004.
During a trip to India, Larry immersed himself into the culture in a quest for spirituality. While living there, he learned to practice Hatha Yoga and subsequently returned to teach classes in the United States. This trip was a springboard to his interest in medicine and his desire to help people. He also traveled to China for a medical exchange program which led him to the explorationof alternative medicine.
Larry lives with his wife, son and daughter in Canton, Georgia. His son will graduate from Kennesaw State University in December 2017. His daughter is a junior at Georgia Southern University. In his spare time, Larry enjoys playing softball, restoring a vintage 1974 MGB sportscar, and creating waterfall landscapes in his backyard.
