Kroll Care is pleased and honored to welcome Peter Fong, M.D. to our ranks. Dr. Fong brings, not only, his highly skilled interventional abilities, knowledge and experience in the management of pain, but also his compassionate and caring manner. Dr. Fong expands Kroll Care’s already multi-faceted approaches to our patients’ needs. In addition to our psychology department’s Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), our chiropractic care, our medication management, our abuse and addiction counseling, he brings superb pain management procedure skills.
Dr. Fong began his training in General Surgery at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Following completion of his surgical internship, his interests led him to train in Anesthesiology at Richland Memorial Hospital where he stayed on as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the University of South Carolina for a number of years. After practicing Anesthesiology for over 15 years, he decided to further his career and completed an Interventional Pain Fellowship at Specialty Clinics of Georgia.
Dr. Fong has been practicing Interventional Pain for over a decade. He served as the Assistant Chief Medical Officer for National Pain Care before he decided to join Kroll Care. Dr. Fong’s goal is to help patients regain function to enable them to enjoy a fulfilling and active lifestyle.
He is Board Certified in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
Kroll Care will soon set up an outpatient drug addiction treatment section under Dr. Fong’s leadership.
