Dr. Sara Rose, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in psychology. She received her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. Dr. Rose has trained in a wide variety of settings including the forensic unit of NW Georgia Regional Hospital in Rome, Positive Impact, the counseling and psychological services center at Kennesaw State University, and the trauma recovery program at the Atlanta VA. Dr. Rose completed her pre- doctoral internship at the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa VAMC in Grand Island, Nebraska and completed her postdoctoral hours in private practice in Woodstock, Georgia. In addition to her full-time work as a pain psychologist at Kroll Care, she also has a private practice located in Woodstock, Georgia.
Dr. Rose’s specialties include the treatment of trauma and PTSD, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and relational problems. While Dr. Rose typically uses an integrative approach to therapy, she has specialized experience in the use of cognitive-behavioral treatment with adults, which is her concentration at Kroll Care.
Dr. Rose has a wide variety of interests, but she is especially fond of reading and enjoys traveling.
